About

Making Music With Us

St. Martin Children's Strings Society was initiated in 2000 at St. Martin Elementary School.  Our affordable program is solidly based on high quality instruction in Suzuki and Royal Conservatory methods.  Our program offers lessons in Cello, Classical Guitar, Violin and Viola to children 4-17 years of age.  With a $25 registration fee paid to the society, our students receive free group lessons throughout the school year along with various opportunities to perform at events as an orchestra.  Although SMCSS has been founded on rich Ukrainian heritage and operates out of St. Martin Catholic School, we welcome students Edmonton wide, of all backgrounds and faith

We offer private lessons in Cello, Classical Guitar, Violin and Viola.  To become a member of our Society, students must be enrolled in weekly private lessons with our instructors or with another instructor of their choosing.  Average cost of private lessons is $25/ half hour.

Free weekly group lesson with registration fee of $25.

All instruments available for affordable rental fees.
